Description

A refreshing and healthy Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie that combines the natural sweetness of watermelon and strawberries with creamy Greek yogurt and a hint of lime. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a cooling summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and chilled
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and frozen

Dairy & Alternatives

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

Others

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 4–5 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the watermelon cubes, frozen strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, honey or maple syrup if using, lime juice, and ice cubes into a blender.
  2. Blend Smoothly: Blend all ingredients on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring no chunks remain.
  3. Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or lime juice according to your preference.
  4. Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with plant-based yogurt and replace honey with maple syrup or omit sweetener completely.
  • Freezing the watermelon cubes beforehand can make the smoothie extra chilled and thick.
  • You can substitute almond milk with any milk or milk alternative of your choice.
