- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp dried minced onion flakes
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
Steak
- 4 steaks (your choice of cut, approx. 1 inch thick)
Instructions
- Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together red wine, chili sauce, vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, dried minced onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and bay leaf until all ingredients are well combined.
- Marinate Steaks: Place the steaks in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring the steaks are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate and tenderize the meat.
- Remove and Cook Steaks: When ready to cook, remove the steaks from the marinade and discard the marinade. Cook the steaks using your preferred method—grill, pan-fry, or broil—to your desired level of doneness.
