Ingredients
Scale
Beef Mixture
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Wrap Fillings
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup diced pickles
- ½ cup shredded lettuce
- ¼ cup diced red onion
Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef completely, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Once no longer pink, drain any excess fat.
- Season the beef: Stir in ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1–2 minutes allowing the flavors to meld, then remove from heat.
- Assemble the wraps: Lay the flour tortillas flat and evenly distribute the cooked beef mixture onto each. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, diced pickles, shredded lettuce, and diced red onion.
- Roll the wraps: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly like a burrito to enclose all the fillings.
- Pan-toast the wraps: Heat olive oil in a clean skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until the tortillas turn golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm: Slice the wraps in half if desired and serve immediately while warm and crunchy.
Notes
- Optional: Add diced tomatoes inside the wrap for extra freshness.
- You can substitute cheddar cheese with American or pepper jack for different flavor profiles.
- For an extra crunch, include crushed tortilla chips inside the wrap before rolling.
