Description

These festive Christmas M&M Peanut Butter Clusters are a quick and delightful no-bake treat combining creamy peanut butter, rich chocolate, and colorful holiday M&M’s. Perfect for holiday parties or sweet snacking, these clusters come together easily in just 15 minutes and harden in the fridge to a perfect bite-sized snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Cluster Mixture

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Add-ins

  • 1 cup M&M’s (Christmas colored)
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts (optional, for extra crunch)

Instructions

  1. Melt Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and unsalted butter together, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Add Powdered Sugar: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the powdered sugar until it is fully incorporated into the chocolate-peanut butter mixture.
  3. Cool and Fold in Mix-ins: Allow the mixture to cool slightly for a few minutes before gently folding in the Christmas colored M&M’s and the optional salted peanuts to distribute them evenly throughout.
  4. Form Clusters: Using a spoon, drop small spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping them into clusters.
  5. Refrigerate: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour or until the clusters have fully hardened and set.
  6. Serve & Store: Serve the clusters immediately or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week to keep them fresh.

Notes

  • You can substitute salted peanuts with unsalted if preferred or omit them entirely for a nut-free crunch.
  • Make sure the mixture isn’t too hot when adding M&M’s to prevent melting them completely.
  • Use parchment paper on the baking sheet to easily remove clusters once set.
  • Store clusters in the fridge to maintain their shape and freshness.
  • These clusters can also be frozen for longer storage; thaw in the fridge before serving.
