Description

Delicious and easy Caesar Shrimp Wraps featuring perfectly sautéed shrimp tossed with classic Caesar dressing, crisp romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan, and optional tomatoes and croutons, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Shrimp and Seasoning

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Wrap Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup croutons, crushed (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Place the seasoned shrimp in the hot skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from heat and set aside.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Slightly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave to make them pliable and easier to roll.
  4. Prepare the Lettuce: In a mixing bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing until all leaves are evenly coated with the dressing.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each tortilla flat and layer the dressed romaine lettuce down the center. Top with cooked shrimp, grated Parmesan cheese, and if desired, diced tomatoes and crushed croutons.
  6. Roll and Serve: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and tightly roll them up. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately while warm and fresh.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in Caesar dressing for 15 minutes before cooking.
  • You can substitute grilled chicken for shrimp if preferred.
