Shrimp and Seasoning
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Wrap Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1/4 cup croutons, crushed (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Cook the Shrimp: Place the seasoned shrimp in the hot skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from heat and set aside.
- Warm the Tortillas: Slightly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave to make them pliable and easier to roll.
- Prepare the Lettuce: In a mixing bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing until all leaves are evenly coated with the dressing.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay each tortilla flat and layer the dressed romaine lettuce down the center. Top with cooked shrimp, grated Parmesan cheese, and if desired, diced tomatoes and crushed croutons.
- Roll and Serve: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and tightly roll them up. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately while warm and fresh.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in Caesar dressing for 15 minutes before cooking.
- You can substitute grilled chicken for shrimp if preferred.
